In the Beginning..

In 1956 Joseph Caldwell Sr., Master Custom Tailor, began TailoRite Complete Clothing Care with the help of three other partners. All the interested parties were qualified tailors and had detailed experience in the garment creation and alteration industry. Being trained at the Metropolitan School of Tailoring, they were able to service the tailoring/ alteration needs of its south-side clients. In 1973, Joseph Caldwell decided to venture out on his own and incorporate a dry-cleaning/ laundry aspect to his service scope. Since that time, TailoRite Complete Clothing Care has been the pioneer of the industry when it comes to garment care services. Our goal is to continue to educate ourselves in the textile world in order to always provide our supporting communities upper echelon service.
